Bali Bali.... I miss u....

Bali... This was the only travel destination where I want to return.

If you are planning for a great holidays, great view, save budgets, relaxing destination. For sure, Bali will be ur first choice!

We managed to booked the zero airfair tickets from Airasia (Cost about RM 175 per pax for return tickets) and sign-up with a ground arrangement tour package with KL's travel agency for RM388 (4d3n inclusive of 1 day city tour to Ubud and Tanah Lot).

From KL to Bali

Fullmoon, because it was Chinese lantern festival'07

We stayed at the main seaside & street of Bali-Kuta Beach, Mecure Hotel (next to Planet Hollywood Hotel) and stay at Hotel Sri. Kesuma at Legian Street (10 minutes distant walk from Kuta beach) on the 4th nights. What's the different about this 2 places? Well, Kuta was just a street with few restaurants and having the great sea view and 5 minutes walk to shopping mall-Sunshine mall. Whereby in Legian Street (1st Bom venue) it's more happening where you can see pubs & restaurant are just around you. I can say Sri.Kesuma was the strategic location as it was just located next to the main street. Even though it was the last night staying there, we went to a western restaurants for steak at Poppi Street and continue with 3 pubs & bistro until late night. Really having great fun over there, and the most important thing is the price was reasonable!!

Travelling spots will be Kintamani (Volcano), Tanah Lot (Sea Temple), Uluwatu (Great sea view on top of the hill), Jimbaran (Seafood Dinner beside the beach with great night views), Sukawati (local market) and Ubub (Traveller's market).

For those who love to shop and would like to buy some souvenirs & painting back to M'sia. You can get more choice from Ubub Market, variety of choices (slightly expansive). Whereby at Sukawati, you are able to get cheaper price but selective products, because it's about the same at every stores.

For those who stay at Kuta & Legian Street, you can just go to Kuta Market (located 10 -15 minutes walking distant) and have a look, not much choices but that's the place where you can grap for the final souvenirs.. haha.. (Tips for shoppers: Try to find a store which sell variaty of goods eg: necklace, shoes, belt, shirts, dress; and buy it all in that particular stores, you can really bargain and negotiate the price till the lowest) For instant, I bought 8 pairs of slippers cost RM8 each after negotiation and sam managed to nego untill RM4.50 per pair and bought others stuff within the same store. For sure it will save you alot of money. We enjoy bargaining and negotiating the prices like reducing from 8k Ruppiah till 7k ruppiah, but after bargaining for 15 minutes then only we realised that was just RM0.38 different for that thousand ruppiah..haha.. we give up to continue bargaining.. but there's alot of fun...

Guys! you will be a good negotiator here as my bf was the one who does that! and for sure I am the one who continue to shop around.. hahahahaha......
Well, what's the other stuff that i've miss out. Oh, the Padi Field at Ubub, scenetic view and don't forget to take care of your belongings, coz there will be beggers around there want force you to buy their stuff, and you might be cheated by them (As what been told by my tour guide, the begger will sell you A and after you'd paid they will change it to B from their bags) So, just becareful..

Another important thing that has been missed out, it's SPA (Must do in Bali) Super cheap packages that you can get here. (Price is actually negotiable if you go by group)

Next, Food (my favourite) keke.. you must try Babi Guling (Fried pork), itik bebek (Roasted duck), Nasi Padang (Bali local food), and instant mee at the store down the street. Erm.. nothing much different but just a try for their local food.
